Qaraa

قَالَ هَلْ ءَامَنُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا كَمَآ أَمِنتُكُمْ عَلَىٰٓ أَخِيهِ مِن قَبْلُ ۖ فَٱللَّهُ خَيْرٌ حٰفِظًا ۖ وَهُوَ أَرْحَمُ ٱلرّٰحِمِينَ

قَالَ هَلْ اٰمَنُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ اِلَّا كَمَآ اَمِنْتُكُمْ عَلٰٓى اَخِيْهِ مِنْ قَبْلُۗ فَاللّٰهُ خَيْرٌ حٰفِظًا وَّهُوَ اَرْحَمُ الرّٰحِمِيْنَ

qāla hal āmanukum 'alaihi illā kamā amintukum 'alā akhīhi ming qabl, fallāhu khairun ḥāfiẓaw wa huwa ar-ḥamur-rāḥimīn

Berkata Ya'qub: "Bagaimana aku akan mempercayakannya (Bunyamin) kepadamu, kecuali seperti aku telah mempercayakan saudaranya (Yusuf) kepada kamu dahulu?". Maka Allah adalah sebaik-baik Penjaga dan Dia adalah Maha Penyanyang diantara para penyanyang.

He said, "Should I entrust you with him except [under coercion] as I entrusted you with his brother before? But Allah is the best guardian, and He is the most merciful of the merciful."

قَالَ

(Yaqub) berkata

He said

هَلْ

هَلۡ

apakah

Should

ءَامَنُكُمْ

اٰمَنُكُمۡ

aku mempercayai kamu

I entrust you

عَلَيْهِ

عَلَيۡهِ

atasnya

with him

إِلَّا

اِلَّا

kecuali

except

كَمَآ

كَمَاۤ

sebagaimana/seperti

أَمِنتُكُمْ

اَمِنۡتُكُمۡ

aku mempercayai kamu

I entrusted you

عَلَىٰٓ

عَلٰٓى

atas

with

أَخِيهِ

اَخِيۡهِ

saudaranya

his brother

مِن

مِنۡ

dari

before

قَبْلُ ۖ

قَبۡلُؕ

sebelum/dahulu

before

فَٱللَّهُ

فَاللّٰهُ

maka Allah

But Allah

خَيْرٌ

خَيۡرٌ

sebaik-baik

(is) the best

حَـٰفِظًۭا ۖ

حٰفِظًا

penjaga

Guardian

وَهُوَ

وَّهُوَ

dan Dia

and He

أَرْحَمُ

اَرۡحَمُ

Maha Penyayang

(is the) Most Merciful

ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ

الرّٰحِمِيۡنَ‏

para penyayang

(of) the merciful
