Qaraa

مَا كَانَ لِأَهْلِ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَعْرَابِ أَن يَتَخَلَّفُوا۟ عَن رَّسُولِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا يَرْغَبُوا۟ بِأَنفُسِهِمْ عَن نَّفْسِهِۦ ۚ ذٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ لَا يُصِيبُهُمْ ظَمَأٌ وَلَا نَصَبٌ وَلَا مَخْمَصَةٌ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا يَطَـُٔونَ مَوْطِئًا يَغِيظُ ٱلْكُفَّارَ وَلَا يَنَالُونَ مِنْ عَدُوٍّ نَّيْلًا إِلَّا كُتِبَ لَهُم بِهِۦ عَمَلٌ صٰلِحٌ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

مَا كَانَ لِاَهْلِ الْمَدِيْنَةِ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُمْ مِّنَ الْاَعْرَابِ اَنْ يَّتَخَلَّفُوْا عَنْ رَّسُوْلِ اللّٰهِ وَلَا يَرْغَبُوْا بِاَنْفُسِهِمْ عَنْ نَّفْسِهٖۗ ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ لَا يُصِيْبُهُمْ ظَمَاٌ وَّلَا نَصَبٌ وَّلَا مَخْمَصَةٌ فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ وَلَا يَطَـُٔوْنَ مَوْطِئًا يَّغِيْظُ الْكُفَّارَ وَلَا يَنَالُوْنَ مِنْ عَدُوٍّ نَّيْلًا اِلَّا كُتِبَ لَهُمْ بِهٖ عَمَلٌ صَالِحٌۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُضِيْعُ اَجْرَ الْمُحْسِنِيْنَ

mā kāna li`ahlil-madīnati wa man ḥaulahum minal-a'rābi ay yatakhallafụ 'ar rasụlillāhi wa lā yargabụ bi`anfusihim 'an nafsih, żālika bi`annahum lā yuṣībuhum ẓama`uw wa lā naṣabuw wa lā makhmaṣatun fī sabīlillāhi wa lā yaṭa`ụna mauṭi`ay yagīẓul-kuffāra wa lā yanalụna min 'aduwwin nailan illā kutiba lahum bihī 'amalun ṣāliḥ, innallāha lā yuḍī'u ajral-muḥsinīn

Tidaklah sepatutnya bagi penduduk Madinah dan orang-orang Arab Badwi yang berdiam di sekitar mereka, tidak turut menyertai Rasulullah (berperang) dan tidak patut (pula) bagi mereka lebih mencintai diri mereka daripada mencintai diri Rasul. Yang demikian itu ialah karena mereka tidak ditimpa kehausan, kepayahan dan kelaparan pada jalan Allah, dan tidak (pula) menginjak suatu tempat yang membangkitkan amarah orang-orang kafir, dan tidak menimpakan sesuatu bencana kepada musuh, melainkan dituliskanlah bagi mereka dengan yang demikian itu suatu amal saleh. Sesungguhnya Allah tidak menyia-nyiakan pahala orang-orang yang berbuat baik,

It was not [proper] for the people of Madinah and those surrounding them of the bedouins that they remain behind after [the departure of] the Messenger of Allah or that they prefer themselves over his self. That is because they are not afflicted by thirst or fatigue or hunger in the cause of Allah, nor do they tread on any ground that enrages the disbelievers, nor do they inflict upon an enemy any infliction but that is registered for them as a righteous deed. Indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of the doers of good.

Madinah

of the Madinah

وَمَنْ

dan orang-orang

حَوْلَهُم

حَوۡلَهُمۡ

disekitar mereka

were around them

مِّنَ

dari

ٱلْأَعْرَابِ

الۡاَعۡرَابِ

orang-orang Arab dusun

the bedouins

أَن

اَنۡ

bahwa

that

يَتَخَلَّفُوا۟

يَّتَخَلَّفُوۡا

mereka tinggal dibelakang

they remain behind

عَن

عَنۡ

dari/dengan

after

رَّسُولِ

رَّسُوۡلِ

Rasul

the Messenger

ٱللَّهِ

اللّٰهِ

Allah

of Allah

وَلَا

وَ لَا

dan tidak

and not

يَرْغَبُوا۟

يَرۡغَبُوۡا

mereka lebih mencintai

they prefer

بِأَنفُسِهِمْ

بِاَنۡفُسِهِمۡ

dengan diri mereka

their lives

عَن

عَنۡ

dari

نَّفْسِهِۦ ۚ

نَّـفۡسِهٖ ؕ

dirinya (Rasul)

his life

ذَٰلِكَ

ذٰ لِكَ

demikian itu

That is

بِأَنَّهُمْ

بِاَنَّهُمۡ

karena sesungguhnya mereka

because [they]

لَا

tidak

(does) not

يُصِيبُهُمْ

يُصِيۡبُهُمۡ

menimpa mereka

afflict them

ظَمَأٌۭ

ظَمَاٌ

kehausan

thirst

وَلَا

وَّلَا

dan tidak

and not

نَصَبٌۭ

نَصَبٌ

kepayahan

fatigue

وَلَا

وَّلَا

dan tidak

and not

مَخْمَصَةٌۭ

مَخۡمَصَةٌ

kelaparan

hunger

فِى

فِىۡ

سَبِيلِ

سَبِيۡلِ

jalan

(the) way

ٱللَّهِ

اللّٰهِ

Allah

(of) Allah

وَلَا

dan tidak

and not

يَطَـُٔونَ

يَطَـُٔــوۡنَ

mereka menginjak

they step

مَوْطِئًۭا

مَوۡطِئًا

suatu tempat

any step

يَغِيظُ

يَّغِيۡظُ

menimbulkan amarah

that angers

ٱلْكُفَّارَ

الۡكُفَّارَ

orang-orang kafir

the disbelievers

وَلَا

dan tidak

and not

يَنَالُونَ

يَنَالُوۡنَ

mereka mendapat

they inflict

مِنْ

مِنۡ

dari

عَدُوٍّۢ

عَدُوٍّ

musuh

an enemy

نَّيْلًا

نَّيۡلاً

pendapatan (bahaya)

an infliction

إِلَّا

اِلَّا

melainkan

except

كُتِبَ

ditulis

is recorded

لَهُم

لَهُمۡ

bagi mereka

for them

بِهِۦ

بِهٖ

dengannya

in it

عَمَلٌۭ

عَمَلٌ

amal

(as) a deed

صَـٰلِحٌ ۚ

صَالِحٌ ؕ

sholeh

righteous

إِنَّ

اِنَّ

sesungguhnya

Indeed

ٱللَّهَ

اللّٰهَ

Allah

لَا

tidak

(does) not

يُضِيعُ

يُضِيۡعُ

menyia-nyiakan

allow to be lost

أَجْرَ

اَجۡرَ

pahala

the reward

ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَۙ‏

orang-orang yang berbuat baik

(of) the good-doers
