Qaraa

وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ إِلَّا رِجَالًا نُّوحِىٓ إِلَيْهِم مِّنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ ۗ أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۗ وَلَدَارُ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوْا۟ ۗ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

وَمَآ اَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ اِلَّا رِجَالًا نُّوْحِيْٓ اِلَيْهِمْ مِّنْ اَهْلِ الْقُرٰىۗ اَفَلَمْ يَسِيْرُوْا فِى الْاَرْضِ فَيَنْظُرُوْا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْۗ وَلَدَارُ الْاٰخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِيْنَ اتَّقَوْاۗ اَفَلَا تَعْقِلُوْنَ

wa mā arsalnā ming qablika illā rijālan nụḥī ilaihim min ahlil-qurā, a fa lam yasīrụ fil-arḍi fa yanẓurụ kaifa kāna 'āqibatullażīna ming qablihim, wa ladārul-ākhirati khairul lillażīnattaqau, a fa lā ta'qilụn

Kami tidak mengutus sebelum kamu, melainkan orang laki-laki yang Kami berikan wahyu kepadanya diantara penduduk negeri. Maka tidakkah mereka bepergian di muka bumi lalu melihat bagaimana kesudahan orang-orang sebelum mereka (yang mendustakan rasul) dan sesungguhnya kampung akhirat adalah lebih baik bagi orang-orang yang bertakwa. Maka tidakkah kamu memikirkannya?

And We sent not before you [as messengers] except men to whom We revealed from among the people of cities. So have they not traveled through the earth and observed how was the end of those before them? And the home of the Hereafter is best for those who fear Allah; then will you not reason?

وَمَآ

وَمَاۤ

dan tidak

And not

أَرْسَلْنَا

اَرۡسَلۡنَا

Kami mengutus

We sent

مِن

مِنۡ

dari

before you

قَبْلِكَ

قَبۡلِكَ

sebelum kamu

before you

إِلَّا

اِلَّا

kecuali/melainkan

but

رِجَالًۭا

رِجَالًا

orang laki-laki

men

نُّوحِىٓ

نُّوۡحِىۡۤ

Kami beri wahyu

We revealed

إِلَيْهِم

اِلَيۡهِمۡ

kepada mereka

to them

مِّنْ

مِّنۡ

dari/diantara

from (among)

أَهْلِ

اَهۡلِ

penduduk

(the) people

ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ ۗ

الۡقُرٰىؕ

negeri/kota

(of) the townships

أَفَلَمْ

اَفَلَمۡ

apakah tidak/tidakkah

So have not

يَسِيرُوا۟

يَسِيۡرُوۡا

mereka bepergian

they traveled

فِى

ٱلْأَرْضِ

الۡاَرۡضِ

bumi

the earth

فَيَنظُرُوا۟

فَيَنۡظُرُوۡا

maka/lalu melihat

and seen

كَيْفَ

كَيۡفَ

bagaimana

how

كَانَ

adalah

was

عَـٰقِبَةُ

عَاقِبَةُ

akibat/kesudahan

(the) end

ٱلَّذِينَ

الَّذِيۡنَ

orang-orang yang

(of) those who

مِن

مِنۡ

dari

(were) before them

قَبْلِهِمْ ۗ

قَبۡلِهِمۡؕ

sebelum mereka

(were) before them

وَلَدَارُ

dan sesungguhnya kampung

And surely the home

ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ

الۡاٰخِرَةِ

akhirat

(of) the Hereafter

خَيْرٌۭ

خَيۡرٌ

lebih baik

(is) best

لِّلَّذِينَ

لِّـلَّذِيۡنَ

bagi orang-orang yang

for those who

ٱتَّقَوْا۟ ۗ

اتَّقَوۡا ؕ

(mereka) bertakwa

fear Allah

أَفَلَا

اَفَلَا

apakah tidak/tidakkah

Then will not

تَعْقِلُونَ

تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ‏

kalian menggunakan akal

you use reason
