Qaraa

أَسْكِنُوهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ سَكَنتُم مِّن وُجْدِكُمْ وَلَا تُضَآرُّوهُنَّ لِتُضَيِّقُوا۟ عَلَيْهِنَّ ۚ وَإِن كُنَّ أُو۟لٰتِ حَمْلٍ فَأَنفِقُوا۟ عَلَيْهِنَّ حَتَّىٰ يَضَعْنَ حَمْلَهُنَّ ۚ فَإِنْ أَرْضَعْنَ لَكُمْ فَـَٔاتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ ۖ وَأْتَمِرُوا۟ بَيْنَكُم بِمَعْرُوفٍ ۖ وَإِن تَعَاسَرْتُمْ فَسَتُرْضِعُ لَهُۥٓ أُخْرَىٰ

اَسْكِنُوْهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ سَكَنْتُمْ مِّنْ وُّجْدِكُمْ وَلَا تُضَاۤرُّوْهُنَّ لِتُضَيِّقُوْا عَلَيْهِنَّۗ وَاِنْ كُنَّ اُولَاتِ حَمْلٍ فَاَنْفِقُوْا عَلَيْهِنَّ حَتّٰى يَضَعْنَ حَمْلَهُنَّۚ فَاِنْ اَرْضَعْنَ لَكُمْ فَاٰتُوْهُنَّ اُجُوْرَهُنَّۚ وَأْتَمِرُوْا بَيْنَكُمْ بِمَعْرُوْفٍۚ وَاِنْ تَعَاسَرْتُمْ فَسَتُرْضِعُ لَهٗٓ اُخْرٰىۗ

askinụhunna min ḥaiṡu sakantum miw wujdikum wa lā tuḍārrụhunna lituḍayyiqụ 'alaihinn, wa ing kunna ulāti ḥamlin fa anfiqụ 'alaihinna ḥattā yaḍa'na ḥamlahunn, fa in arḍa'na lakum fa ātụhunna ujụrahunn, wa`tamirụ bainakum bima'rụf, wa in ta'āsartum fa saturḍi'u lahū ukhrā

Tempatkanlah mereka (para isteri) di mana kamu bertempat tinggal menurut kemampuanmu dan janganlah kamu menyusahkan mereka untuk menyempitkan (hati) mereka. Dan jika mereka (isteri-isteri yang sudah ditalaq) itu sedang hamil, maka berikanlah kepada mereka nafkahnya hingga mereka bersalin, kemudian jika mereka menyusukan (anak-anak)mu untukmu maka berikanlah kepada mereka upahnya, dan musyawarahkanlah di antara kamu (segala sesuatu) dengan baik; dan jika kamu menemui kesulitan maka perempuan lain boleh menyusukan (anak itu) untuknya.

Lodge them [in a section] of where you dwell out of your means and do not harm them in order to oppress them. And if they should be pregnant, then spend on them until they give birth. And if they breastfeed for you, then give them their payment and confer among yourselves in the acceptable way; but if you are in discord, then there may breastfeed for the father another woman.

أَسْكِنُوهُنَّ

اَسۡكِنُوۡهُنَّ

tempatkanlah mereka

Lodge them

مِنْ

مِنۡ

dari

from

حَيْثُ

حَيۡثُ

mana

where

سَكَنتُم

سَكَنۡـتُمۡ

kamu bertempat tinggal

you dwell

مِّن

مِّنۡ

dari

(out) of

وُجْدِكُمْ

وُّجۡدِكُمۡ

yang kamu dapati/menurut kemampuan

your means

وَلَا

dan jangan

and (do) not

تُضَآرُّوهُنَّ

تُضَآرُّوۡهُنَّ

kamu menyusahkan mereka

harm them

لِتُضَيِّقُوا۟

لِتُضَيِّقُوۡا

untuk kamu menyempitkan

to distress

عَلَيْهِنَّ ۚ

عَلَيۡهِنَّ ؕ

atas mereka

[on] them

وَإِن

وَاِنۡ

dan jika

And if

كُنَّ

mereka

they are

أُو۟لَـٰتِ

اُولَاتِ

mempunyai

those (who are)

حَمْلٍۢ

حَمۡلٍ

kandungan

pregnant

فَأَنفِقُوا۟

فَاَنۡفِقُوا

maka berilah nafkah

then spend

عَلَيْهِنَّ

عَلَيۡهِنَّ

atas mereka

on them

حَتَّىٰ

حَتّٰى

sehingga

until

يَضَعْنَ

يَضَعۡنَ

mereka melahirkan

they deliver

حَمْلَهُنَّ ۚ

حَمۡلَهُنَّ ۚ

kandungan mereka

their burden

فَإِنْ

فَاِنۡ

maka jika

Then if

أَرْضَعْنَ

اَرۡضَعۡنَ

mereka menyusukan

they suckle

لَكُمْ

لَـكُمۡ

bagi kalian

for you

فَـَٔاتُوهُنَّ

فَاٰ تُوۡهُنَّ

maka berilah mereka

then give them

أُجُورَهُنَّ ۖ

اُجُوۡرَهُنَّ ۚ

upah mereka

their payment

وَأْتَمِرُوا۟

وَاۡتَمِرُوۡا

dan musyawarahkanlah

and consult

بَيْنَكُم

بَيۡنَكُمۡ

diantara kamu

among yourselves

بِمَعْرُوفٍۢ ۖ

بِمَعۡرُوۡفٍۚ

dengan baik

with kindness

وَإِن

وَاِنۡ

dan jika

but if

تَعَاسَرْتُمْ

تَعَاسَرۡتُمۡ

kamu menemui kesulitan

you disagree

فَسَتُرْضِعُ

فَسَتُرۡضِعُ

maka akan menyusahkan

then may suckle

لَهُۥٓ

لَهٗۤ

kepadanya

for him

أُخْرَىٰ

اُخۡرٰى ؕ‏

lain

another (women)
