Qaraa

مَا كَانَ لِلنَّبِىِّ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَن يَسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ وَلَوْ كَانُوٓا۟ أُو۟لِى قُرْبَىٰ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُمْ أَصْحٰبُ ٱلْجَحِيمِ

مَا كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ وَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اَنْ يَّسْتَغْفِرُوْا لِلْمُشْرِكِيْنَ وَلَوْ كَانُوْٓا اُولِيْ قُرْبٰى مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ اَنَّهُمْ اَصْحٰبُ الْجَحِيْمِ

mā kāna lin-nabiyyi wallażīna āmanū ay yastagfirụ lil-musyrikīna walau kānū ulī qurbā mim ba'di mā tabayyana lahum annahum aṣ-ḥābul-jaḥīm

Tiadalah sepatutnya bagi Nabi dan orang-orang yang beriman memintakan ampun (kepada Allah) bagi orang-orang musyrik, walaupun orang-orang musyrik itu adalah kaum kerabat(nya), sesudah jelas bagi mereka, bahwasanya orang-orang musyrik itu adalah penghuni neraka jahanam.

It is not for the Prophet and those who have believed to ask forgiveness for the polytheists, even if they were relatives, after it has become clear to them that they are companions of Hellfire.

مَا

Not

كَانَ

ada/patut

(it) is

لِلنَّبِىِّ

bagi Nabi

for the Prophet

وَٱلَّذِينَ

وَالَّذِيۡنَ

dan orang-orang yang

and those who

ءَامَنُوٓا۟

اٰمَنُوۡاۤ

beriman

believe

أَن

اَنۡ

untuk

that

يَسْتَغْفِرُوا۟

يَّسۡتَغۡفِرُوۡا

memintakan ampun

they ask forgiveness

لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ

لِلۡمُشۡرِكِيۡنَ

bagi orang-orang musyrik

for the polytheists

وَلَوْ

وَ لَوۡ

walaupun

even though

كَانُوٓا۟

كَانُوۡۤا

mereka adalah

they be

أُو۟لِى

اُولِىۡ

kaum

near of kin

قُرْبَىٰ

قُرۡبٰى

kerabat

near of kin

مِنۢ

مِنۡۢ

dari

after

بَعْدِ

بَعۡدِ

sesudah

after

مَا

apa

[what]

تَبَيَّنَ

telah jelas

has become clear

لَهُمْ

لَهُمۡ

bagi mereka

to them

أَنَّهُمْ

اَنَّهُمۡ

bahwasanya mereka

that they

أَصْحَـٰبُ

اَصۡحٰبُ

penghuni

(are the) companions

ٱلْجَحِيمِ

الۡجَحِيۡمِ‏

neraka

(of) the Hellfire
