Qaraa

يَكَادُ ٱلْبَرْقُ يَخْطَفُ أَبْصٰرَهُمْ ۖ كُلَّمَآ أَضَآءَ لَهُم مَّشَوْا۟ فِيهِ وَإِذَآ أَظْلَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ قَامُوا۟ ۚ وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَذَهَبَ بِسَمْعِهِمْ وَأَبْصٰرِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

يَكَادُ الْبَرْقُ يَخْطَفُ اَبْصَارَهُمْ ۗ كُلَّمَآ اَضَاۤءَ لَهُمْ مَّشَوْا فِيْهِ ۙ وَاِذَآ اَظْلَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ قَامُوْا ۗوَلَوْ شَاۤءَ اللّٰهُ لَذَهَبَ بِسَمْعِهِمْ وَاَبْصَارِهِمْ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ࣖ

yakādul-barqu yakhṭafu abṣārahum, kullamā aḍā`a lahum masyau fīhi wa iżā aẓlama 'alaihim qāmụ, walau syā`allāhu lażahaba bisam'ihim wa abṣārihim, innallāha 'alā kulli syai`ing qadīr

Hampir-hampir kilat itu menyambar penglihatan mereka. Setiap kali kilat itu menyinari mereka, mereka berjalan di bawah sinar itu, dan bila gelap menimpa mereka, mereka berhenti. Jikalau Allah menghendaki, niscaya Dia melenyapkan pendengaran dan penglihatan mereka. Sesungguhnya Allah berkuasa atas segala sesuatu.

The lightning almost snatches away their sight. Every time it lights [the way] for them, they walk therein; but when darkness comes over them, they stand [still]. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken away their hearing and their sight. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.

يَكَادُ

Almost

ٱلْبَرْقُ

الۡبَرۡقُ

kilat

the lightning

يَخْطَفُ

يَخۡطَفُ

menyambar

snatches away

أَبْصَـٰرَهُمْ ۖ

اَبۡصَارَهُمۡؕ

penglihatan mereka

their sight

كُلَّمَآ

كُلَّمَاۤ

setiap

Whenever

أَضَآءَ

اَضَآءَ

bersinar

it flashes

لَهُم

لَهُمۡ

kepada mereka

for them

مَّشَوْا۟

مَّشَوۡا

mereka berjalan

they walk

فِيهِ

فِيۡهِۙ

didalamnya

in it

وَإِذَآ

وَاِذَاۤ

dan apabila

and when

أَظْلَمَ

اَظۡلَمَ

menjadi gelap

it darkens

عَلَيْهِمْ

عَلَيۡهِمۡ

atas mereka

on them

قَامُوا۟ ۚ

قَامُوۡاؕ

berhenti

they stand (still)

وَلَوْ

وَلَوۡ

dan bila

And if

شَآءَ

menghendaki

had willed

ٱللَّهُ

اللّٰهُ

Allah

لَذَهَبَ

niscaya Ia melenyapkan

He would certainly have taken away

بِسَمْعِهِمْ

بِسَمۡعِهِمۡ

dengan pendengaran mereka

their hearing

وَأَبْصَـٰرِهِمْ ۚ

وَاَبۡصَارِهِمۡؕ

dan penglihatan mereka

and their sight

إِنَّ

اِنَّ

sesungguhnya

Indeed

ٱللَّهَ

اللّٰهَ

Allah

عَلَىٰ

عَلٰى

atas

(is) on

كُلِّ

setiap

every

شَىْءٍۢ

شَىۡءٍ

sesuatu

thing

قَدِيرٌۭ

قَدِيۡرٌ‏

Maha Kuasa

All-Powerful
