Qaraa

أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَؤُا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ فَذَاقُوا۟ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

اَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَؤُا الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ قَبْلُ ۖفَذَاقُوْا وَبَالَ اَمْرِهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ

a lam ya`tikum naba`ullażīna kafarụ ming qablu fa żāqụ wa bāla amrihim wa lahum 'ażābun alīm

Apakah belum datang kepadamu (hai orang-orang kafir) berita orang-orang kafir terdahulu. Maka mereka telah merasakan akibat yang buruk dari perbuatan mereka dan mereka memperoleh azab yang pedih.

Has there not come to you the news of those who disbelieved before? So they tasted the bad consequence of their affair, and they will have a painful punishment.

datang kepadamu

come to you

نَبَؤُا۟

نَبَـؤُا

berita

(the) news

ٱلَّذِينَ

orang-orang yang

(of) those who

كَفَرُوا۟

كَفَرُوۡا

kafir/ingkar

disbelieved

مِن

مِنۡ

dari

from

قَبْلُ

قَبۡلُ

sebelum/dahulu

before

فَذَاقُوا۟

فَذَاقُوۡا

maka mereka merasakan

So they tasted

وَبَالَ

akibat buruk

(the bad) consequence

أَمْرِهِمْ

اَمۡرِهِمۡ

urusan/perbuatan mereka

(of) their affair

وَلَهُمْ

وَلَهُمۡ

dan bagi mereka

and for them

عَذَابٌ

azab

(is) a punishment

أَلِيمٌۭ

اَلِيۡمٌ‏

pedih

painful
