Qaraa

وَكَذٰلِكَ أَخْذُ رَبِّكَ إِذَآ أَخَذَ ٱلْقُرَىٰ وَهِىَ ظٰلِمَةٌ ۚ إِنَّ أَخْذَهُۥٓ أَلِيمٌ شَدِيدٌ

وَكَذٰلِكَ اَخْذُ رَبِّكَ اِذَآ اَخَذَ الْقُرٰى وَهِيَ ظَالِمَةٌ ۗاِنَّ اَخْذَهٗٓ اَلِيْمٌ شَدِيْدٌ

wa każālika akhżu rabbika iżā akhażal-qurā wa hiya ẓālimah, inna akhżahū alīmun syadīd

Dan begitulah azab Tuhanmu, apabila Dia mengazab penduduk negeri-negeri yang berbuat zalim. Sesungguhnya azab-Nya itu adalah sangat pedih lagi keras.

And thus is the seizure of your Lord when He seizes the cities while they are committing wrong. Indeed, His seizure is painful and severe.

وَكَذَٰلِكَ

وَكَذٰلِكَ

dan demikianlah

And thus

أَخْذُ

اَخۡذُ

mengambil/azab

(is) the seizure (of) your Lord

رَبِّكَ

Tuhanmu

(is) the seizure (of) your Lord

إِذَآ

اِذَاۤ

apabila

when

أَخَذَ

اَخَذَ

Dia mengambil/mengazab

He seizes

ٱلْقُرَىٰ

الۡقُرٰى

negeri

the cities

وَهِىَ

dan ia (penduduknya)

while they

ظَـٰلِمَةٌ ۚ

ظَالِمَةٌ ؕ

berbuat dzalim

(are) doing wrong

إِنَّ

اِنَّ

sesungguhnya

Indeed

أَخْذَهُۥٓ

اَخۡذَهٗۤ

azab-Nya

His seizure

أَلِيمٌۭ

اَلِيۡمٌ

sangat pedih

(is) painful

شَدِيدٌ

شَدِيۡدٌ‏

keras

(and) severe
