Qaraa

وَٱتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ ٱبْنَىْ ءَادَمَ بِٱلْحَقِّ إِذْ قَرَّبَا قُرْبَانًا فَتُقُبِّلَ مِنْ أَحَدِهِمَا وَلَمْ يُتَقَبَّلْ مِنَ ٱلْءَاخَرِ قَالَ لَأَقْتُلَنَّكَ ۖ قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَتَقَبَّلُ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ

۞ وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَاَ ابْنَيْ اٰدَمَ بِالْحَقِّۘ اِذْ قَرَّبَا قُرْبَانًا فَتُقُبِّلَ مِنْ اَحَدِهِمَا وَلَمْ يُتَقَبَّلْ مِنَ الْاٰخَرِۗ قَالَ لَاَقْتُلَنَّكَ ۗ قَالَ اِنَّمَا يَتَقَبَّلُ اللّٰهُ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ

watlu 'alaihim naba`abnai ādama bil-ḥaqq, iż qarrabā qurbānan fa tuqubbila min aḥadihimā wa lam yutaqabbal minal-ākhar, qāla la`aqtulannak, qāla innamā yataqabbalullāhu minal-muttaqīn

Ceritakanlah kepada mereka kisah kedua putera Adam (Habil dan Qabil) menurut yang sebenarnya, ketika keduanya mempersembahkan korban, maka diterima dari salah seorang dari mereka berdua (Habil) dan tidak diterima dari yang lain (Qabil). Ia berkata (Qabil): "Aku pasti membunuhmu!". Berkata Habil: "Sesungguhnya Allah hanya menerima (korban) dari orang-orang yang bertakwa".

And recite to them the story of Adam's two sons, in truth, when they both offered a sacrifice [to Allah], and it was accepted from one of them but was not accepted from the other. Said [the latter], "I will surely kill you." Said [the former], "Indeed, Allah only accepts from the righteous [who fear Him].

۞ وَٱتْلُ

۞ وَاتۡلُ

dan bacakanlah

And recite

عَلَيْهِمْ

عَلَيۡهِمۡ

atas mereka

to them

نَبَأَ

نَبَاَ

berita/cerita

the story

ٱبْنَىْ

ابۡنَىۡ

dua orang anak

(of) two sons

ءَادَمَ

اٰدَمَ

Adam

(of) Adam

بِٱلْحَقِّ

بِالۡحَـقِّۘ

dengan sebenarnya

in truth

إِذْ

اِذۡ

ketika

when

قَرَّبَا

keduanya mempersembahkan korban

both offered

قُرْبَانًۭا

قُرۡبَانًا

korban

a sacrifice

فَتُقُبِّلَ

maka diterima

and it was accepted

مِنْ

مِنۡ

dari

from

أَحَدِهِمَا

اَحَدِهِمَا

salah satunya

one of them

وَلَمْ

وَلَمۡ

dan tidak

and not

يُتَقَبَّلْ

يُتَقَبَّلۡ

diterima

was accepted

مِنَ

dari

from

ٱلْـَٔاخَرِ

الۡاٰخَرِؕ

yang lain

the other

قَالَ

dia berkata

Said (the latter)

لَأَقْتُلَنَّكَ ۖ

لَاَقۡتُلَـنَّكَؕ

sungguh aku akan membunuhmu

Surely I will kill you

قَالَ

ia berkata

Said (the former)

إِنَّمَا

اِنَّمَا

sesungguhnya hanyalah

Only

يَتَقَبَّلُ

akan menerima

accepts

ٱللَّهُ

اللّٰهُ

Allah

(does) Allah

مِنَ

dari

from

ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ

الۡمُتَّقِيۡنَ‏

orang-orang yang bertakwa

the God fearing
