Qaraa

أُو۟لٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱشْتَرَوُا۟ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ ۖ فَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ

اُولٰۤىِٕكَ الَّذِيْنَ اشْتَرَوُا الْحَيٰوةَ الدُّنْيَا بِالْاٰخِرَةِ ۖ فَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُوْنَ ࣖ

ulā`ikallażīnasytarawul-ḥayātad-dun-yā bil-ākhirati fa lā yukhaffafu 'an-humul-'ażābu wa lā hum yunṣarụn

Itulah orang-orang yang membeli kehidupan dunia dengan (kehidupan) akhirat, maka tidak akan diringankan siksa mereka dan mereka tidak akan ditolong.

Those are the ones who have bought the life of this world [in exchange] for the Hereafter, so the punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be aided.

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ

اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ

mereka itulah

Those

ٱلَّذِينَ

الَّذِيۡنَ

orang-orang yang

(are) the ones who

ٱشْتَرَوُا۟

اشۡتَرَوُا

(mereka) membeli

bought

ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ

الۡحَيٰوةَ

kehidupan

the life

ٱلدُّنْيَا

الدُّنۡيَا

dunia

(of) the world

بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۖ

بِالۡاٰخِرَةِ

dengan akhirat

for the Hereafter

فَلَا

maka tidak

so not

يُخَفَّفُ

mereka diringankan

will be lightened

عَنْهُمُ

عَنۡهُمُ

dari mereka

for them

ٱلْعَذَابُ

الۡعَذَابُ

siksa

the punishment

وَلَا

dan tidak

and not

هُمْ

هُمۡ

mereka

they

يُنصَرُونَ

يُنۡصَرُوۡنَ‏

mereka ditolong

will be helped

Tafsir Ayat 86

(Merekalah orang-orang yang membeli kehidupan dunia dengan kehidupan akhirat) artinya lebih mengutamakan dunia daripada akhirat (maka tidaklah akan diringankan siksa terhadap mereka dan tidaklah mereka akan beroleh bantuan") untuk menghindarkan siksaan itu.
